Susan Heimsoth graduated with distinction from the Dance Program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, where she received the first and third year scholarships in dance. She went on to dance professionally in Philadelphia and Toronto before working as a dancer and choreographer in musical theatre productions across the country. Susan has completed her Level 1 teaching certification in the Vaganova Ballet Method in New York City, through the Russian American Federation and the Bolshoi Ballet. Susan has worked on numerous television and film projects. She is the recipient of the Don S. Williams award for artists in North Vancouver in 2007. Susan has performed locally with the Dancers of Damelahamid, Madura Dance Collective, and recently in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Closing Ceremonies with Michael Buble. Recently Susan was commissioned by the City of North Vancouver to teach contemporary dance at Studio in the City. Susan was also commissioned to create public contemporary dance art including Hydro Dynamic art installation in 2015. Susan is the Artistic Director of OneDance Creative Art Centre.
