Sarah Douglas

sarahSarah began dancing at the age of 10 with a small studio in Ontario. She started her discipline in tap and received honours in all of her B.A.T.D exams. Her teacher had noticed her love for dance and gave her a studio scholarship to participate in all the classes that were available to her. She loved all the classes so much she decided to join the competitive team to show everyone her love of dance and performing. She continued to study and compete in jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, tap, modern and hip-hop. During her competitive years she has been the recipient of various awards including gold, high gold, platinum, several high score awards, class attendance awards and most dedicated dancer.

Sarah also took her studies to Toronto to attend many workshops and master classes in Toronto for tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. Sarah loved to perform but she wanted to share her passion and decided to teach and choreograph. Her resume includes Mother Teresa High School musical Godspell, Mother Teresa High School dance classes, masses, shows and fundraisers. She has worked with sports teams and many studios across Ontario. Sarah has been seen in a variety of different performance events. She has been seen on “The Breakfast Show on The New RO”, “The History of Rock and Roll” show at the Ottawa Civic Center seating 9000 people, DREA productions “Drivin’s Ignition”, Ottawa Super EX for shows and contests, various different local parades, Canada day celebrations, performances at Centerpointe Theatre and Confederation Park and the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
